Today was such a special day for Conner. He got to party for his Birthday and be baptized. We did the party first so that we could end the day on a spiritual note. The baptism was in the Logan Tabernacle and it was only Conner and his cousin Austin, that made it even more special. It was a little bit of work to plan everything and do our own programs, but it turned out so great. Thank you to every one who came and supported Conner and Austin. We Love you all so much!

Cracker thanks for setting everything up for the luncheon and for barricading the Tabernacle so everyone had a place to park.( It was the night of the Cruise -In here in Cache Valley so traffic and parking was a mess.) Chalet thanks for your help with the kids and all the last minute things that wouldn't have gotten done without you.
Grandpa Con and Grandma Vicki with Conner. Vicki Thank you so much for giving the amazing talk on the Holy Ghost. Grandma Vicki is a convert to the church and has a very special story..she had us all in tears, even though we've heard it before. It is such a neat story and she has such an amazing testimony of this gospel. Con and Vicki had to be in Island Park over the 4th to cook dutch oven dinner for Bill's Island so they put in a lot of hours and travel time to be here and we are so thankful for all they do.

Uncle Jared and Aunt Kona with Conner. These two showed up on Thursday night and were so helpful the whole time they were here. Even though we got to play a lot and had a ton of fun while they were here, they also helped us out a lot. We even got Jared to babysit for us on Saturday morning so Kona and I could run all the last minute errands. Thanks you two for coming and for all your help.

Great Grandma Forsgren(my mom's mom) was here visiting from Arizona. It was so neat that she got to be at the baptism. She was also here visiting the day Conner was born 8 years ago. Were glad she was here to share these two special days with us and also a few birthday parties over the years. We Love you Grandma.
This was a really special visit Conner got from Uncle Chris, Aunt Kelly, Camilla, & Luke. The were up from Arizona for Kelly's family reunion in Provo so they drove up for the baptism. Thanks you guys that really meant a lot and it was so good to see you!

The two newest members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Conner and Austin Haycock. I love how the two of them are just glowing. They look so handsome in their little suits..yes that made me cry too. This whole day was a bit emotional for me. A lady had to laugh at me in Deseret Book because I was crying after every baptism card I read. She told me I'd cry through the whole baptism too and Oh...she was right. I told Conner it's not that I'm sad..it's a little bit of shock that I have an 8 yr old( how did the time go by so fast?), it's humbling to see the amazing spirit and knowledge of and 8 yr old boy(at times I know he was sent to teach me), but most of all... I felt so honored to be Conner's mother. My heart was so full. I felt so much joy that my son made the choice to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a church that I know is true and will bring great joy into his life.
